Long-Term Missionary Joins Agape Global Missions

Dr. Leara V. Lee

Dr. Leara V. Lee, a native of Brownsville, Tennessee in the U.S., and founding president of Breath of Life Global Missions, has joined Agape Global Missions as a long-term missionary in Uganda.  In her transition this year, Dr. Lee came to Uganda in July, 2009 for a three month stay with plans to return long term next year.

Dr. Lee is an ordained minister who has traveled globally since 1999 sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in such countries as India, China, Brazil, and a host of other nations in Africa and throughout the world.  A certified counselor and social worker, Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Theology and Christian Psychology, a Masters degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.

Dr. Lee will join the Agape staff as a volunteer missionary serving as a member of the
Presbytery to equip and train leaders for the purpose of church planting and to aid in overseeing our church planting efforts in Uganda.  She will also serve as one of our instructors in 'The Ray of Hope School of Trauma Counseling" which offers training in various course related to counseling.  We welcome Dr. Leara Lee to our Ugandan team!
