Agape Global Missions, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) federal tax exempt mission organization that we founded in May, 2002 by Dr. Linda F. Marcell. The ministry is governed by a board of directors and is based in Inglewood, California, USA. The organization is also a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda, East Africa. Our mission is to obey and fulfill the Great Commission: "Go to all the world and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).
OUR MINISTRY OUTREACHES
Church Planting is the best way to fulfill the Great Commission. We have begun with responsible and strategic evangelism through our various projects and ministry outreaches that have led to home Bible studies and fellowships. Through our discipleship and leadership trainings indigenous people are equipped and released to plant churches where the harvest is ready so that new believers can grow as effective witnesses for Christ.
Ray of Hope School of Trauma Counseling is a crisis intervention training program that is set up as a mobiles school to offer counseling training from a biblical perspective. Our mobile school offers short courses on various topics, "Care & Counsel in the Workplace" to NGOs, churches and business etc, and our three level trauma counseling training to help alleviate the emotional pain and suffering of those traumatized by war and other atrocities facing the Great Lakes Region of East Africa.
Long and Short-Term Missionary Volunteers are welcome to come to Uganda to visit our fields, and use their God-given gifts and talents to be a blessing to the people. We coordinate various ministry opportunities in our churches such as children and youth ministries, visits and ministry within the internally displaced people (IDP) and refugee camps in Northern Uganda, ministry among university students and adults and others.
