The Vision

Agape Global Missions was founded with the vision of taking the message of God's love to the nations of the world so that God might be known by all peoples and worshipped as the only true and living God. We cannot effectively make disciples and teach them the commands of Christ outside a church setting. An evangelistic campaign declares the gospel and brings people to a place of decision, but it doesn't fully teach them all the things that     Jesus has commanded usHome Bible Fellowships

We believe that Church Planting is the best way to fulfill the Great Commission. We have begun with responsible and strategic evangelism through our various projects and ministry outreaches that have led to home Bible studies and fellowships. Through our discipleship and leadership trainings indigenous people are equipped and released to plant other churches where the harvest is ready so that new believers can grow as effective witnesses for Christ.

Our strategy began with a:

  1. Home Bible Fellowship
  2. To evangelize the lost by preaching and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ through word and deed
  3. To disciple new believers through the teaching of God's word
  4. Identify potential leaders
  5. Prayer & Intercession for the lost
  6. Train and equip ministers to be released from the hub or parenting church
  7. Plant other churches

Many existing churches in Uganda have lost focus and have little or no Christian foundation.  Cultic practices, traditional African beliefs, ancestral worship and witchcraft have darkened the minds of many. We believe that God continues to raise up apostolic leaders as pioneers, who are pathfinders and trailblazers with breakthrough anointing to continue the work of fulfilling the Great Commission.

"Agape Christian Church International" is the first church and hub for branch churches to be planted in the future. Agape Global Missions sees church planting as no option, but a major priority as a divine assignment given by God.  We can never afford to sit back and be glad of what we already have, when there is still so much ground to capture.  We believe it to be our God-given task to evangelize the lost, disciple and equip every believer to bring in the harvest.

We believe that church planting builds a network that is ready to capture the harvest of souls to bring into the kingdom.  One church in a community is not enough to capture the harvest.  Having an entire network of new churches in various areas increases the effectiveness of the gospel in the community.

Our goal is to see the whole world filled with the glory of the Lord (Habakkuk 2:14).  We believe that church planting is God's key to seeing this come to pass.  Jesus said in Matthew 16:18b, "I will build my church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."  The picture that Jesus gives us is a strong progressive visionary church that is plundering hell and populating Heaven.  It is a church that is taking enemy territory. A church that is unstoppable.

Conclusion:

Agape Global Missions sees church planting as no option, but a major priority as a divine assignment given by God.  We can never afford to sit back and be glad of what we already have, when there is still so much ground to capture.  We believe it to be our God-given task to evangelize the lost, disciple and equip every believer to bring in the harvest.

We know and understand that we have been given the power to destroy the works of darkness and see the glory of God fill our world.  This will be done when Christians from all walks of life, all nationalities and all social groups come together with a passion burning in their hearts to see the Gospel of the Kingdom go forth through church planting for the glory of our God!
