Apostle Linda Marcell, Ph.D.

Dr. Linda F. MarcellApostle Dr. Linda F. Marcell, is an ordained minister of the gospel and foreign missionary from California, USA.  She has served as a missionary the last eleven years in such countries as India, South Korea, China, Thailand, Mexico, Argentina, Sweden and numerous countries in Africa, before establishing her ministry in Uganda seven years ago.  Apostle Marcell is the founder of Agape Global Missions, which is a mission organization based in California in the U.S. and is also a registered NGO in Uganda. She is also the Senior Pastor of Agape Christian Church International in the Bukasa-Muyenga area of Kampala, Uganda.

A church planter and Christian psychologist,  Apostle Linda Marcell has entered into a new dimension of ministry as one of the end-time apostles that God is raising up around the world.  She was consecrated an apostle in June, 2010 by Apostle George Akalonu  from London, England during the Kingdom Summit in Chicago, Illinois and later in September 2010, in the local church where she serves as Senior Pastor in Uganda by Bishop Nathaniel Bond from the United States.

Dr. Marcell is recognized internationally as an anointed woman of God, who is committed to releasing the apostolic dimension within the hearts of the saints, equipping and calling them to go forth as victorious believers sent out to be bearers of the light of Jesus Christ. She has a heart for equipping and empowering leaders to be released for the work of ministry. A spiritual mother to many around the world, Dr. Linda Marcell ministers with great passion and inspiration fulfilling her apostolic mandate to reach out and bless the nations with the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Dr. Linda Marcell holds a Ph.D. in Christian Psychology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida, a Masters in Education from Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee, a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications from Lane College in Tennessee.  She has earned diplomas in Theology, Christian Education and Crisis/ Trauma Counselling.  She has studied missions in the School of Missions at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and has taken numerous other trainings to enhance her spiritual growth.

Dr. Marcell is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of five who reside in Tennessee in the U.S.

 

Church Planting

The Biblical Vision for the Church is to win souls and  to make disciples. We believe that church planting is the best way to accomplish the Great Commission.  We started with responsible and strategic holistic evangelism through our various projects such as counseling, literacy and vocational training that led to home Bible studies and fellowships.

Project Chance

Project Chance Uganda is our ministry to children and youth who are risk. The ministry designs projects to build hope and a future for the thousands of orphaned, disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Uganda. Our vision is to share the love of God through word and deed to bring hope, healing and restoration to those who are lost, wounded and impoverished, giving a child a chance thus rescuing the next generation.  CHILDREN DESERVE A CHANCE!

Ray of Hope School of Trauma Counseling

The mobile school was developed as a crisis intervention program to alleviate the emotional pain and suffering of those traumatized by war and other atrocities facing Uganda and the Great Lakes Region of East Africa.  Our training in crisis intervention and trauma counseling is taught from a Biblical perspective.

Short Term Mission Volunteers
