Our mission is to obey and fulfill the Great Commission: "Go into all the world and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

OUR VISION

Agape Global Missions was established with a vision to enhance the understanding of the Great Commission through mission education, consultations and vision trips. We seek to encourage and empower believers as global Christians using their gifts, talents and resources to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Agape Global Mission has a current mission focus in East Africa, and has established an East African office in Kampala, Uganda. The heart of our global outreach is to spread the love of God by word and deed into the uttermost parts of the world. We seek to equip and strengthen the persecuted Church, disciple new believers, evangelize the lost and take hope, healing and restoration to the poor, deprived and persecuted people in various nations throughout the world.

OUR MISSION:

To take God's demonstration of love through Christ into a lost world by:

  • To plant strong, viable Christian churches that will nurture new believers, evangelize the lost and equip leaders to be released to plant other churches in an effort to fulfill the Great Commission
  • Creating missions awareness and education
  • Coordinating mission activities at home and abroad that will offer believers practical hands-on experience in ministering cross-culturally and globally.
  • Provide crisis and trauma counseling training to pastors, church leaders and professionals in the war-torn areas of East Africa.
  • To provide assistance for the care of the increasing number of orphans as a result of HIV/AIDS, wars and extreme poverty.
  • To strengthen the Church through various trainings to promote reconciliation, healing, unity and peace in East Africa.
  • To make Christ known to those who do not know Him through various evangelistic outreaches for the purpose of church planting.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe God has revealed Himself as a triune Being, being manifested in three personalities as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Phil. 1:6; Matt. 28:19).

We believe man is a created being, made in the image and likeness of God. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin came into the world and now man’s only hope of redemption from sin is through the shed blood of Christ, the Son of God. (Rom. 5:14; 3:23; Luke 24:47).

We believe man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced produces eternal life. (II Corinthians 7:10; I John 5:12; John 3:3-5).

We believe the ordinance of water baptism by a burial with Christ is to be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have repented and believe in their hearts on the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and they have also risen with Him to walk in the newness of Life. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4).

We believe the ordinance of receiving Holy Communion in remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ. “… and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also the cup, after supper saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” ( I Corinthians 11:24-25, 28).

We believe that all believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect to earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church.
